Before you begin scheduling, the final step is sharing Crew Console with your team. This ensures employees and staff can access the system quickly and start using it without confusion.
Using your company login link
Each Crew Console account has a unique company login link. You can access it from the homepage by clicking the Login Link button. From here, you can copy the link and email it to individuals or share it however you prefer.
If you choose Text to Employees, every employee in your system will receive a message with the company link and their PIN. While this is convenient, many companies prefer to start small by sending access only to a few people at first.
Sharing with a QR code
Another easy option is downloading the QR code. You can print it and post it in your office or shop. Employees can scan the code to open the app, and you can give them their PIN in person. For staff members, you can provide their email and password so they can sign in the same way.
Sending access to specific employees
If you want to share access with one person at a time, go to the Employees page and use the Login Link option next to an individual’s name. This sends a text message directly to that employee with the company link and their PIN. They can tap the link, enter their PIN, and save the app to their home screen without needing to visit the App Store or Google Play.
Testing the experience
A helpful tip is to create a test employee using your own phone number. This lets you see exactly what the employee receives and ensures the process works smoothly before sharing it with your team.
Staff sign in differently
Staff members log in differently than employees. While employees use a PIN, staff members sign in with their email and password. When they receive the login link, they must select the staff login option and enter their credentials.
Staying signed in
Once employees or staff sign in, the app will remember their information as long as they do not log out. This means they can close the app and reopen it later without needing to enter their PIN or password again. If they choose to log out, they will need to sign in again the next time they open the app.
