Recovery Pace

For: Scheduler, Administration

Topics: Job Tracking

Recovery pace helps you understand how fast a crew needs to work to catch up when a job falls behind its goals. Instead of guessing, you see a clear number that shows what pace is required to finish on time.

This feature only applies to jobs that already have goals set.

Recovery pace is enabled at the account level.

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Open Tracking
  3. Turn on Show Recovery Pace
  4. Press Save

Once enabled, recovery pace will appear anywhere job goals are shown.

Open a job that has goals set. For example, a job may have a goal of installing 2,000 square feet of concrete in 500 hours.

The job will already show the current pace, which tells you how fast the crew is actually working. If the current pace is behind the goal, recovery pace shows the new pace required to catch up.

Recovery pace answers a simple question: how fast do we need to go from here forward to still hit the goal?

Recovery pace is not just an office tool. It is also visible to crews in timekeeping.

When employees enter time, they can see the recovery pace number for the job. This puts clear expectations in front of the field and helps crews understand what needs to change to get back on track.

Recovery pace helps you decide what to do next. You may increase manpower, adjust work methods, or reset expectations based on real numbers. It gives you a clear target instead of relying on assumptions.

By showing both current pace and recovery pace, Crew Console makes job performance easier to understand and easier to correct.
