Topics: Job Tracking

In Crew Console, every job you create also functions as its own folder. This keeps all job-related information organized in one place, from scheduling and tasks to photos, notes, and time tracking.

From the main jobs page, administrators can see high-level information for each job, including totals like overtime. Clicking into a job opens a detailed view where everything related to that job lives.

Inside a job, you can create tasks and assign them to employees. Anyone scheduled to the job can see those tasks and add photos, videos, notes, or attachments directly under them. Administrators can do the same.

You can also post information in the job’s general message board, which is useful for instructions, updates, or directions to the site. Field employees scheduled to the job can upload their own photos and notes as work progresses, giving you real-time visibility into what’s happening.

Any photo, video, note, or attachment added to a job can be shared. You can copy a direct link to a file and send it to anyone, even if they don’t use Crew Console. This makes it easy to share things like walkthrough videos or progress photos with clients.

You can also share files internally by selecting them and sending them by text to employees within your company.

Notes can be marked as sticky, which keeps them pinned at the top of the job. This is helpful for directions, special instructions, or anything that shouldn’t get buried as new updates are added.

Tasks under a job are also what employees use for timekeeping. When logging time, employees select the task they worked on, keeping hours tied directly to the job and the type of work performed.

You can go further by setting goals for tasks. For example, you can define quantities, target man-hours, and expected pace. As employees submit time and production, you can see whether the job is on pace or falling behind, shown clearly with progress indicators.

Each task can be customized to track only what matters, such as hours only, mileage only, or production quantities. You can also turn task goals on or off for field employees, allowing you to track performance internally without showing targets during early rollout.

By treating each job as its own folder, Crew Console keeps scheduling, communication, files, and time tracking tied together. This makes it easier to manage work, review progress, and find information later without searching across multiple screens or tools.
