Injury tracking allows employees to report injuries directly during time entry while automatically notifying the right people and storing everything in one place.
How to Enable Injury Tracking
Injury tracking is turned on by an admin.
- Go to Settings
- Open Tracking
- Enable Injury Tracking
- Add recipients
When adding recipients, you can select from your employee and staff list.
If the recipient is a staff member with an email address, you can send notifications by email.
If the recipient is an employee, you can send notifications by SMS.
If the recipient has the app installed, they can also receive push notifications.
Once recipients are set, press Save.
What Employees See When Entering Time
When injury tracking is enabled, a new question appears during time entry.
Every time an employee submits time, they must answer the question asking if they were injured. In most cases, the answer will be no and it will simply be recorded.
If the employee selects yes, additional fields appear.
They can enter a description of the injury, upload documents, or attach photos of the injury directly from their device. Once submitted, the injury report is saved with the time entry.
Notifications and Record Keeping
As soon as an injury is submitted, all selected recipients are notified by text, email, or push notification depending on setup.
The injury is also stored with payroll records and clearly marked as an injury entry.
Reviewing Injuries in Payroll
Admins can review injuries directly from the payroll page.
You can filter time entries to show only injured entries, open individual reports, and view attached notes and files. All injury data can also be exported as a CSV file.
Finding Injury Files in Tracking
All injury photos and documents are also stored under Tracking > Files. You can search and filter files to quickly find injury related media.
Injury Reporting Overview
Injury tracking ties injury reporting directly to timekeeping. This ensures injuries are documented immediately, notifications are sent automatically, and records are easy to find later.
